Jay Park (+ Victor) @ The Sand, Amsterdam (25/09/2013)

20130925_152603

YAAAY another concert that I have enjoyed. As you would know by the title and header picture, I went to see Jay Park, I went to his concert none other than my own home town, Amsterdam. When I found out that Jay Park was coming to the Netherlands I was literally jumping around in my room. Tickets sale started on July 29 at 10 am. No matter what I was getting a ticket. of course I did get the ticket at the end and that makes me more happy. As day was getting closer Invazi were having a lot of different contest going on, with winning tickets to winning meet & greets. So I joined the contest since it doesn't hurt joining the contest and I happen to win a meet & greet with Jay Park, YAY.

As I needed to be for the meet & greet really early at the place, I left home early to arrive there. When I arrived I got told that I only have 2 minutes to see Jay Park, take picture and leave. Of course I was sad to hear that I only have 2 minutes to see Jay, its like I can say hi and bye to him. But anyways knowing I can get a picture with him makes me happy enough. So I was in the queue waiting to be my turn  to meet Jay, As the queue was getting shorter, I got really nervous. I was inside and I saw Jay taking pictures and giving out signigture, and then I turn to my right and saw Hep from AOM walking on the sofa, he kinda seemed bored. I took a picture of him, and then he saw me and pointed at himself as in asking am I taking pictures of him so I nodded my head and he made a pose for me to take. It was very nice of him to do that, unfortunatly I forgot to ask for a picture with him together. So when it was finally my turn I asked for an autograph and I got him to sign on the ticket and took a picture with him. I was actually planning to go and ask  Hep for a picture but I forgot as the staff kept on saying "next" as there were a lot of people in the queue.

Afterwards I was waiting outside or my friends to arrive, they arrived around 18:30. I went to the queue waiting to go inside. We were all excited to see to Jay Park. We were talking and of course you cant leave out the group picture ^^ I won't put the group picture here as my friends won't like it.

As we were moving forward, we got inside, of course you can't leave the the toilet break ^^" afterwards I went to look at the stuff they were selling, there were selling the AOMG shirts in black and white and they cost 25 euros, As there were a lot of people I didn't get the chance to look properly what they were selling, I did see a lot of Victor CD's but I didn't get them. So of course I went to get an AOMG shirt, and yof course Jay's little brother Jehan was there as well. Unfortunately he was really busy so I was unable to ask for a picture, but he was the one that was helping me so you could say I talked to him ^^. So we went to get a place in the crowd. Victor started the show, As I was standing quite at the back I was unable to see properly & film anything, put I did make some filming with the help of my friends & some pictures. It started at 8PM and victor performed until 8:45PM. When Victor were performing they also has some solo stages, such as Gyum has some solo rap time, Bie also had a solo stage. In & Choo did some pop n Lock performance.  Since 2 of the members birthday were in a few day the asked who's birthday it was and they got them to go on stage and they did some games (I think) I could barely see so I wasn't all to sure what's going on stage.

When Victor was done we got told that Jay Park won't perform until 9PM so we had about 15 mins break, some of my friends went to get some drink, as I wanted to stay and try to get to the front since I couldn't see anything. As my friends went to get drinks they took a picture with Jehan. I of course was trying to push my way to the front, I did get to the front but there was a girl in front of so there were times that I couldn't see that well. As it was 9PM the mc got on stage and told us to make as much noise we can, if not Jay won't come on stage. After some screaming Jay finally Got on stage and the first song he sang was Nothing On You.  He had a lot of talks between his songs, he also interacted the crowed a lot, which was very nice. The Prepix crew was there to dance with Jay and of course Hep was also dancing. And something you of course would expect Jay to do is taking his shirt off. I am not going to describe everything he did as I got it all on camera.  I really enjoyed the show, and I am already excited for when he comes back again as he promised to be back.

Warp Zone: Video Game Art Show

970075_10201545935039696_572759251_n

On 7 September 2013, I attended Warp Zone. It was hold at Vondelbunker in Amsterdam. My friends and I arrived very early that day around 1pm. At that time there weren't many guest at that time since they were still setting up.  There were quite some stuff that has been set up already, such as art work, laptops with old games on it, and of course they already set up the items they are planning to sell. As time is going by, the setting up is almost done and guest started to arrive.  Everyone was enjoying them self by talking to each other, playing games, or buying items.

I can't exactly remember around what time but I think around 4pm or 5pm that they started to show animations that were made by students, There were a lot of them that I likes some confused me but that could be me XD. When it was done showing a lot a animations, they took a break and a guys started to play some chip tunes. Unfortunately chip tunes is not really my thing so I spend the time outside talking to people. After the chip tunes were done, they showed the 2nd part of the animations, and ones again there were some that I really like, some I didn't and some confusing me. I stayed until they were ending before saying goodbey to every and heading off. I really enjoyed Warp zone, I hope that everyone that went there also enjoyed it.

Rumours & Scandals in the kpop scene

1174766_10153170369950008_1594199658_n

I have been trying to keep up with the kpop news for a few years now and the thing that mostly annoys me would be scandals and rumours the kpop idols go through. Kpop idols are humans as well, they have their own private life's why can't you leave them a lone. Back in March SHINee's Onew has been spotted by people that he was smoking an electric cigarette. A lot of people were making a huge problem out of it, but honestly what if he does smoke, its not illegal and its his life he choose to do it.

I find it really annoying that these Korean citizens have to make up rumours or make things like its the end of the world. I think that they need to give them some space, they also need time to rest and do things they like. If they are in a relationship or are getting married I will be happy for them. If something bad happens like a break up I would wish that they get over it soon and be happy again. Hating on them is not going to change the fact that they are humans they need love, they rest just like all of us. Sasaeng fans, they are just over the border of being a fan.

A few hours ago I read an article about Se7en and Park Han Byul breaking up after 11 years, and then another article pops up saying that Park Han Byul company is denying the fact they broke up. So when I read it I felt it a shame that they broke up but then at the other side, this is their problem and ours so why does everyone have to make it a big issue out of it. If they break up that I will find it a shame because they look really good together, but if they didn't break up than I would be happy and hope that they will stay together for a long time.

So what do you think of all these scandals/rumours, comment below and let me know. Please don't start hating on me and have a normal discussion since this is all my opinion,

The World of Manga (worldmuseum)

Some people knows that I am not a fan of museums, but when I heard that Akatsuki Katoh, Shiho ENTA, Ching Nakamura & Fuzichoco are having their work shown her in the netherlands I just have to go and see it.

On 15th August 2013 I went to meet up with friends at the Amsterdam central station and we went to get the train there to Rotterdam. As we all never been to Rotterdam with the trein we were scared to be lost, but thank god I did some good googling on how to get there. It was really easy to find the place, so we were all happy that we got there without any troubles. When we got there we got our tickets to go inside, we also received a small device that we can use to listen to the informations on the pieces that are shown.

The museum was showing work from the section "the World of Manga" & "The collection" We weren't planning to go and see the collection, but we did see the first floor of it because we got into the wrong entrance for the Manga section. After some trouble trying to find our way to the manga section we went to ask the people who work there and at the end we finally found it. I have taken over 120 pictures, but here are some pictures and some of my favourite ones.

Shino ENTA work:

20130815_143125  20130815_145916 20130815_145943  20130815_150044 20130815_150447  20130815_150452

Ching Nakamura Work:

20130815_145852

Akatsuki Katoh work:

20130815_152045  20130815_152053

Fuzichoco Work:

20130815_151009  20130815_151515  20130815_151816  20130815_151931  20130815_152308

Artist that has used different god's to inspire them to draw/create (such as Tekken, Street FIghter, Final Fantasy, etc)

20130815_143741  20130815_143823  20130815_143838  20130815_144042  20130815_144122  20130815_144131

Cosplay section, I found the section a huge disappointment especially the information they put up. There was one where they were dressed in Goth clothes and the description says steam punk, and another one the girl was dressed in Goth lolita, and the information says "she isn't dressed as Goth but she is Goth" I really have the urge to pull the information tag of the wall.

20130815_152936

The last section is about Wolf Children, its a movie that has been released in 2012 and it  is directed by Mamoru Hosoda. I was interested of the pictures that has been showed, such as the progress of figuring the characters.

20130815_153438  20130815_153454  20130815_153843  20130815_153909  20130815_154010  20130815_154024

I really enjoyed it, if anyone that will be coming to the Netherlands and loves Manga then I would recommend you go and see it. The exhibition will be up till 12 January 2014. Entrance fee is 12,50 euro if you are younger than 12 years old then its free.
