Big Bang Alive Tour London 15/12/2012

So Big Bang was holding a World Tour and happen to have a stop in London at Wembley Arena. When I heard in the beginning of the year that they will come to Europe I have been saving money to see them. I was very happy when the tickets finally went into sale. After some trouble because of the site being down, I got tickets. I was so happy that the smile on face would just not disappear. Since I don't live in UK I had to look for hotel and plane tickets.  Me and my friends were searching and searching and finally 2 weeks before the concert we got everything settled. We got our plane tickets we have a hotel to stay that is close to Wembley arena.

On the 15th December I had to wake up at 5am to go to the airport since I had an early flight to Luton Airport. When we arrived we went to get the train to king cross and from there we went to Oxford street to have some food and do a bit of shopping since we couldn't check in until 2pm.

After eating and shopping, and of course you can't leave out buying stuff. Since I had a wedding to attend a few days later after the concert and I didn't have a outfit so I was very happy that I end buying an outfit at New Look. Since my

After it was about time we went to take the underground to Wembley park. Me and my friends actually took the wrong exit and instead of heading straight to the hotel we end up walking by Wembley Arena and when we were walking that way, we saw people with Big Bang merchandise and we were wondering where they get it from. As we were walking we saw Wembley Arena and we saw the merchandise stands. So to make sure that we are allowed to buy it I went to ask the security guy. The guy was totalling playing around as he was saying that it was Psy who is performing and not Big Bang but at the end he say that were allowed so we went into the queue. I then bought the Big Bang basic Light stick ( £20), a t-shirt (£15), stickers (£5) and the hooded sweater (£55) I also bought some stuff for my friend who was unable to come to the concert and for my little brother. After that we headed to the hotel which was les than 5 minutes away.

     Picture 1 & 2 is the Wembley Arena view from the station. picture 3 is the outside of the hotel. I would recommend it because the rooms were really clean and the price was now expensive at all. So if you are going to a concert at the Wembley Arena and you are looking for a cheap hotel I would recommend Wembley Quality Hotel.

At the concert we checked in and did some changing into our merchandise clothes and went to have some food. around 5pm we went to the Arena to start queueing. It wasn't very cold in the beginning. When we were queueing we suddenly saw a limo so we went to see who it was and everyone was going crazy  but once the people (teenagers) came out of the limo everyone was booing it. It was not funny joke -_- so went back to the queue. At some point we were bored but the girls standing in front of use were laying Big Bang songs so at some point were talking and enjoying in cold. When it was 6pm the doors opened and we went inside (finally ^_^) So when we got inside and the people showed our seat we went around and took pictures.

Girls Generation - I Got a Boy MV Review

So after I finished watching the teaser, my thoughts were. So they are not going for the cute/sexy concept and I really liked the beat. I was excited to see what SNSD had in store for the Sones. But the more I watched the teaser the more confused I was. first of all. What is with the outfits, what is their actual concept. So to answer my own questions I decided to wait for the full MV and see if it will answer my questions.

So the mv started of with SNSD in a pink room being all cute and then a guy rings the bell. It then changes in to lit room (that is pink) and we see all of them in clothes that would be considered hip hop clothes?? I don't know what the name of the style is. But any ways we see them trying to be all cool (sunny with her bright purple hair) I really loved their clothing here though. The beginning part sound that it will fit very well with the part we heard in the teaser. and then after that it goes into the song with a different background (we all know its a studio) that looks like the streets. They are all wearing a different outfits. I loved some and don't like some.

in between the song/dance they were showing solo shots of SNSD being on a date with a guy. Showing them being all cute again. and that goes on until around 2:05 where they go into the chorus. The beat totally changes. That is where it start the I get confused. It sounds as if its a whole new songs starting from there.

In the chorus part (which is the beat that we hear in the teaser) it shows them doing a dance that doesn't really fit into the whole choreograph. The outfits doesn't make sense to me either. Yoona and Hyoyeon starst to rap afterwards. Its nice to show a different skill they never really showed before.

After all the whole MV/songs doesn't go very smooth. Also the concept is still a question to me. Looking at the outfits, dance and song. The concept is still not clear. Here is a style breakdown written by allkpop. and I pretty much have the same thoughts (click here)

Top moments I had in 2012:

• Going to A(エース), An Cafe and Big Bang concert. Having seen 2 of my top Visual Kei bands here in the Netherlands was a dream come true. And ofcourse seeing Big Bang was a big dream come true. Having been into kpop for about 5/6 years and Big Bang was one of the few bands I started listening and having fallen in love with their music straight away and hoping to see them live some day. After 5/6 years and they are finally coming to Europe to the UK, and me finally able to see them live. (for my experience click here)

• Finally meeting Nyny ^_^ (She also have an amazing blog, go and check it out by clicking here) after being in contact with her for some time I was finally able to meet her. Time was short but it was really nice ^_^ hope that next time will be longer ^_^

• My school year finally went well. After having changing school a few times, I have finally found the school with the right course that suits me the best.

• I had an amazing internship. Its always hard to find an internship were you love working/learning and that your co workers and leaders are nice. I was very lucky to find one that I enjoyed and that everyone was nice working with. My leader was very flexible in working and all my co workers didn't want me to leave when I was done with my internship.

• Went to animecon again in HK in the summer. in 2011 I went to animecon in HK and I had a lot of fun bought a lot made a lot of pictures, so when my parents decided to go got HK again in 2012 to see my grandma I decided to go again, but it was a bit of disappointment here were less stuff to buy, less stands but there were more cosplayers.

Hopes I have for 2013:

• Dynasty Warriors 8, Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning's Return and GTA5 these 3 games I have been waiting since 2012. As a person who loves gaming GTA5 can not be left out. Every gamer out there is waiting the release of this game. I will be released in the 2nd Quarter of the year (presumed in May) I do hope that it will not be pushed forward again. Also being a huge DW and  FF  fan, those 2 games cannot be left out of my list. Having played all the previous DW games, the new one is a must have for my collection. Having seen that there will be new character available and new play modes. The game will be released in Japan in February for Europe is still unknown. Last but not least FF Having played XIII and XIII-2, Lighting's Return is also a must have for me. Curious how the story will end and what will happen to Lightning. In the press conference it mentioned that it will be release in 2013 but nothing else is mentioned. I am hoping that it will come around summer or at least not like Final Fantasy Versus that has never been released.

• Big comebacks in kpop. SNSD had their comeback with I got a Boy. I was expecting something big from them as they are one of the leading Hallyu waves artist, but I was very disappointed when I saw the actual MV and song (for the review click here). I do hope that some other kpop artist will have some good comebacks. in 2012 there weren't many comebacks that were good or any good debut songs. I am not expecting Big Bang to have a comeback though, because they just have world tour for a year, flying back and forth. I do let them a some time off and rest though. They do deserve it.

• More exciting Kdramas. First of all I cannot wait till IRIS2 premiers. I am going to watch not only because Doojoon (B2ST) & Lee Joon (MBLAQ) are acting in it, but because having watched Iris 1 & Athena, this drama has made into a number 1 must watch. As I love action movies/tv dramas I don'd mind romantic stuff (chickflicks) but the drama really needs a plot. I watch quite some tvdramas last year (kdrama, jdrana,twdrama,cdrama) and alot of them doesn't catch me. I just recently finished watching Fashion King, it took me 3 months to finish that because the plot just doesn't catch me. So I hope that this year(2013) there will be more good tvdramas.

Must do in 2013:

• Meeting more Korean/kpop lovers. It would be nice to meet more people with the same interest. I love meeting new people so that would be great ^_^ also meeting Koreans would be nice, they can help me to improve my Korean.

• learning Korean (again). At least to do some Korean study twice a week. I really want to study Korean again and improving it would be nice. So far I can only say words. I want to at least able to read and understand Korean ^_^

• updating my blog more. I am planning to write more reviews on mv/pv/tv shows/drama (chinese, korean, japanese) etc.
  

1 year anniversary ^_^

Hello everyone ^_^

So today is exactly 1 year that I have started blogging. on 21 November 2011 is when I posted my first post. I thank the people that has read my post in the past year.

In the beginning when I started blogging, I had no clue what to blog about. I could have blogged about everything, tutorials, reviews, everyday life, etc. So I started out with post about stuff that I I can't say to people but really want to lose it. Slowly after that I started reviews on items I ordered online. That also slowly went to me reviewing about the concerts I have been. So far I only reviewed 2 concerts. I am thinking if I should write a post about my other 2 concerts that I went to before I started this blog.

I was also doing 2PM scenarios for some time, but then I slowly stopped, I still want to do it but I just can't find the time to do it and I started it because no one was doing 2PM scenarios. But now there are quite some people on tumblr that does it. I still have a list of request from people, so when I find the time I will definitely do it and I might started doing other kpop groups as well or like on request, so that I wont be just doing 2PM, but that is a HUGE MAYBE, don't have hopes up.

Also I recently started continuing my fanfic as well on asianfanfics.com of course the update is slow as mentioned before with the 2PM scenarios, I don't really have the time as I am busy with my internship and school and of course personal life as well.

I have a lot of things that I want to do such as updating my scenarios and fanfics regularly, doing something more with the blog, but I just never get around to do it.

p.s. I like to ask, is anyone going to see BigBang Alive Galaxy Concert in London? I am going on the 15th with 2 of my friends. It would be nice if we could meet and be friends IVIPs <3 if you are going I hope to see you there.

An Cafe @ Melkweg 9 November 2012

When I found out that An Cafe was coming to Amsterdam, I was so happy so happy. After a whole month I couldn't find anyone to go with, since I don't want to go alone, I began to give hope of going to see them. Just when I was about to give up, a friend of mine ask if I would be going since I has no one to go with as well. We both took the chance and went together, and we both end up seeing some friend that went to A(エース). The concert was amazing, one they got on stage everyone went crazy, After they played their first song they made their first talk. It was really cute how they were talking in English. They also provide so mush fan service.

After playing for about 15 minutes they were introducing each member with very funny names. Yuki was so hyper since the beginning of the concert as if he couldn't stand still. There was 2 songs were Miku and Yuki were singing/rapping. After 30 minutes of playing they got of stage, of course everyone was screaming An Cafe and Encore. After 10 minutes they got back on stage and changed their clothes. Once again everyone went crazy and they start playing again. Since my standing place was close to Takuya, I made most pictures and videos of him I wanted to take more pictures of Kanon but he was at the other side of the stage. At some point Takuya saw my camera and kept smiling at it also he has thrown 2 of his guitar picks into the crowd, unfortunately I didn't get them.

When it was the ending of the of the show they were posing with a Japanese flag for people to take pictures, they even got of stage for a bit for people to take pictures. When they got back on stage they were touching people hands and of course I went to the front as well. Being one of the shortest girls there I got to touch Takuya and Kanon hands. And of course I was happy like crazy Afterwards Miku took his shirt off, didn't had enough time to take a picture of that. I got some An Cafe badges and a hooded zipper, that I am totally in love with.

A(エース) @Trivoli 8 July 2012

Sunday 8th July 2012

My friend won 2 tickets to see A(エース) in Utrecht and I was lucky that I was able to go along with him. So I knew that they were coming to Holland since they announced it, but I couldn't find anyone to go with me until my friends ask if there was anyone to go with.

My day was simple meeting with my friend and his friend and we took the train to Utrecht. We were 3 hours early in Utrecht so we went for some food at KFC. We then went to look for the right bus as none of us are familiar in that surrounding. After finding the right bus and got to the right place we met up with everyone else that are going to see A(エース). With 2 whole hours to go were just messing around and talking and listening to music outside. As time was going by the doors opened (YAAAY). Once everyone was inside everyong put their bags away, buy stuffs, etc. Then the door opened to the stage we got in waited AND THEN A(エース) came on stage. Obviously everyone went crazy.

I really liked Toshi solo and Rookie Fiddler violing parts were so beautiful. Also when I was filming Rookie Fiddler and he saw that I was filming him, he tend to stay longer in sight for me to film him. Nimo english was cute and I really like how he include the audience when he was singing was so nice. They all have such a big stage presence.

I was using my 12 megapixel camera in the beginning and the picture and videos turned out worse then the ones I took with my Iphone4 -_-

BUT that was ok because most important was that I enjoyed the concert. I was happy that I was able to see A(エース) live and so close.

A new chapter in my life

I should have written this post like way back in February, but writing it now doesn't make a big difference either.

In February 2012 I changes school, I went from an international school (studying IB) to a a dutch school (ROCvA studying ICT). When I was in international school I was happy but over stressed. I studying to get the grades but unable to get it. Teachers told me that they can see that I am studying hard for it but I just never able to get it. They told me that it is beter to go to another school instead of wasting all my energy in studying and money (international school are like privates school, so the price is a lot). That is when I started looking for a new school. As I was looking for a new school I was asking myself  "What do I want to do in the future that I would enjoy?". Having that question in mind and searching for a new school I went to ask some friends. One of my friend who happens to be studying ICT  at that moment gave me some thinking.

I enjoy working with computers, I have knowledge about them. Why not go and study ICT system administration. I could have chosen any ICT course but I chose system administration because well my friends happen to be studying it and I needed to start somewhere with ICT, especially I tend to work better in a place where I already know some people.

So having started ICT system administration since February which I have been enjoy so much even my parents could tell I am much happier and look less tired. Of course I also made a lot of new friends. I also have noticed myself that I have changed.

 

For me going to a new school making new friends is like opening a new chapter in my life and I am ready to make many new chapters in my life in the future.
